Meet Your Instructor: Brett J.L. Landry, Ph.D., CISSP, CEH
Landry is the dean of the Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business at the University of
Dallas and professor of cybersecurity. He has over 20 years of experience in information
security in the public and private sectors. Landry has been instrumental in the university’s
certification as a National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Information Assurance
by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Landry is frequently featured in the Dallas Business Journal and universally regarded as one of the foremost experts in cyber defence for large
businesses.
Landry earned his doctorate from Mississippi State University and is a Certified Information
Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
and a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
Course Availability
Located on the University of Dallas campus, the CISSP Review sessions will take place
over four Saturdays. Each session will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour break
for lunch. To maximize the effectiveness of the certification training, classes are
held in person and kept small to emphasize learning assurance and group collaboration.

Body of Knowledge (CBK). The CISSP training materials have been developed by CISSP
practitioners with decades of real world, practical experience to ensure learner success
across all 10 domains as defined by (ISC)2.
This program allows students to earn a Certificate of Completion. Students are required
to successfully complete all assignments and projects and attend all classes to earn
the certificate.
This class is a pass/fail course, no grade will be issued.
